Meet The Team

The Greek word kalos means, “An outward sign of the inward good.” The Kalos Ministry team consists of women who wish to embody these qualities in their own lives and the lives of others.

Meet Debbie:

Debbie Hufham has a desire to show women they can trust God. A message about obedience is not something most  people run to hear, but her belief that “faith is the key ; obedience open the door.” She invites you through the door where you find peace, hope and a trust in God.

Debbie is an Alabama girl, who has lived in Wilmington N.C. for over 30 years. She is a wife to Mack Hufham, mother of 4 children, grandmother of 2 and ENT nurse. She enjoys expressing creativity in writing,painting and shares her gifts with others. She has placed her faith in God and her obedience to the call for women’s ministry.


Meet Beth:

Beth Hamon lives to joyfully serve God. Her joy comes from experiencing God’s miraculous healing from both physical and mental illness. She loves to encourage others to seek God’s peace and healing. She has been married for 25 years to Bob and they have two grown children. Beth also works as a kindergarten teacher in Wilmington NC.
Meet Andy:

Andy Lee loves teaching the Bible and encouraging women more than eating chocolate. And she likes chocolate a lot. Her desire is to help women discover the reality of a tangible God and the power and life hidden inside the Bible. She wrote A Mary Like Me: Flawed Yet Called, and The Book of Ruth Key Word Bible Study: A 31-Day Journey to Hope and Promise. She teaches at Lifepoint Church and leads a local Christian writers critique group called Word Weavers. She also broadcasts the Bite of Bread on Facebook Live where she encourages hundreds of viewers every weekday from all over the country. Andy is mom to three grown kids and one kitty named Hank, and she’s been wife to her sweetheart, Mike Lee, since 1990. Life hasn’t always been easy, but she wouldn’t change a thing.


Meet Venus:

Venus Schrader has spent the past seven years in pursuit of emotional healing from the traumatic events of her childhood. On the brink of throwing in the towel on life and God, she received the revelation that she was Daddy’s Girl. This opened the door to a process of healing that has forever changed her life. She has lead women’s bible study, taught Sunday school, and she has also ministered to homeless and runaway teens and single moms. Venus enjoys spending time with her family and friends, while exploring the wonders of life. She is the mother of four adult children: a handsome son and three beautiful daughters. She also has four precious grandchildren. Venus lives in Wilmington, NC, with her husband Randy.
